Ok I guess we all know by now i can not write even if you pay me . And for that I apologize.
The winds of “change” are sweeping all over except for France, or so it feels.
Leaving seems like the best solution, and it should be done fast, like if running, or not at all.

I had a werid dream that I could remember very well right after weaking up and that now is getting foggier by the minute.

What you feel is what you get

The trip to no where

Filed under: Hard Times, Trip — Lisa Paclet @ 7:16 am

I’ll say it straight up:
We lost our plane to Stockholm last night and now I’m in bed in Paris with  the fever!

In the grand scheme of things who cares, but right now, form my sick feaver-full brain it really blows.
WE HAD RENTED SAILOR BUNK-BEDS ON A BOAT! And poor Olof was waitng for us,  ALL NIGHT LONG for nothing! (mmhh i think i’m exxagerating about him staying up all night but still)

I can’t even say ‘oh well, at least let’s enjoy the Panam this week end, go to the nuit blanche, go to a party, finish some work  or something “ because of this random sickness.

I suppose being sick in Stockholm wouldn’t have been very nice either.
Oh well.

Oh well.

On the way back home I saw that highway sigh up there, with the name covered up by a piece of duct tape.
I took a picture and Zachary said “Poetic Realism…” a  little laughing.

La Boucherie

Filed under: Interests, Trip, art — Lisa Paclet @ 11:37 am

Today I’m taking a train and going to Italy.
I have some wonderful Feather head bands and a battery for an electric bike in my suitcase.

I also stopped at the FNAC to pic up some comic books or, “Graphic Novels”, if you want, and found this amazing book: La Boucherie by Bastian Vives

I bough it because of this dancing scene, and I will read it on the night train:

This Blanket is alive in my house

Filed under: Fashion, Good Times, Hard Times, Interests, Rants, Trip — Lisa Paclet @ 7:48 am

So! I’m back from some pretty amazing vacations in NYC and Kentucky (see photos below) to a gray Paris a nasty salty green soup and a broken washing machine (that’s getting fixed).

I’m in good spirt though.  Despite this sudden drop in to fall temperatures September in Paris can be lovely: Things are re-energized, what had to change changed, or will soon, and all I’m inclied to do is walk around and look at the streets, the trees and the clutters of people.

This is a good city.

My hair is turning in to waves.
And I’m trying to conciliate the fact that I can be a fully grown lady and still feel a slight point of jealousy towards the 16 years old Sea of Shoes girl.

Oh well.

KIOSK-KIOSK

Filed under: Good Times, Interests, Trip — Lisa Paclet @ 5:09 am

KIOSK-KIOSK it’s the best use of e-commerce i have ever seen!
Inspired form the original Kiosk store in Berlin, that sold all sorts of nick knacks and random items; these New York based guys took it to the next level by treavelling and selecting from each pleace they visit a limited amount of wonderful objects and making them available on line.

I love it! I do not need any of it but I would love all of ‘em things!
Things on my short list are:
-The ABC notebooks (Hong Kong)
-The rainbow xilophone (Germany)
-The plastic pocket flask (Finland)
