OK. I am back from Dubai, but i’ll still go in order:

I was there to oversee that the film that I directed and made with Yann was going to play smoothly during the opening night of the festival (and for the consecutive nights…). The thing was though that we made the movie but never had a real chance to check how it would actually look on the 40m/12m LED screens, which were built to show it. SO there were surprises, but by working till 3 am every night we managed it.

The resolution of the images dropped sharply but i loved it, it was an element that stringed the film together, even the cheesy parts ( Disclaimer: We HAD to add cheesy parts, client request / “…George Clooney has to go wow…”). Plus i have never seen something I made projected on such a large surface!
