Romance.
Here, the internet put out some photos of the Party!
Or, I shamelessly stole some photos from the official photographer Alistair Allan (Dirty Dirty Dancing).
Nota Bene: The Sparkly Mothra Suit
As You can see all the cute/weird/important people got photographed and we did not, you’re guess as of why (multiple choice):
a. We were Ugly
b. We were Handicapped
c. We were Blinding
d. We were way out of reach inside the dungeon
e. We had no pants on (sans-pants)
f. We were asking for cash
Yeasterday I receved a really nice e-mail by Ian Lumsden an animation teacher a the performing Arts College in England. He wrote: “In part sorrow at your cancelled project may I recommend my post today on your work”
He helds the Animation Blog in which with an he finds and presents very eloquently new and old artists.
I was very surprised to find may people I didn’t know about, which in the animation business (that is quite incestuous here in France) is not always a given
Thank you Ian! (I’ll be adding a link to his blog soon)
You should definitely check out his last post on Bill Collins & Jeff Scher “No Time” which is a beautiful film.
I also stumbled upon “The animation Podcast” which features a bunch f interviews with the 2nd generation of Disney “Old Man” my heros as a kid and teenager: Glen Keane, Andreas Deja, James Baxter, Eric Goldberg ect…It’s making me pretty nostalgic an eager to listen!

Drop whatever you’re doing, this is definitively better!
“…The one-day festival includes an animal show and a food and fashion contest which features the guinea pig, native to the Andes.
The guinea pigs spend the day being dressed up…… pampered… and fattened up.
Guinea pigs can be served fried, roasted or in a casserole…”
HiHi,
So yasterday while walking to work and eating a banana, I saw an old lady with a blue wig and sunglasses, all crouch down, very close to the pavement.
She was picking up something from the ground, bit by bit, I could not yet see what.
I passed next and around her, then turned around to make sure It was really what i saw.
Eating shit!
She was
Picking up dog shit and eating it.
I AM NOT EVEN KIDDING.
I threw up a little bit in my mouth and then turned around to send some sms.
Laetita Badaut Haussmann has new a website showcasing her work!
It’s Unreal!
100 Percent.
What’s so exciting it’s blunt yet subtle nature of her work.
Selective Truth.
With this I feel very much inspired; compelled to try and evolve.
