Kate Moross and Alex Sushon for Simian Mobile Disco

Filed under: Animation, Experimental Film, Music Video, art — Lisa Paclet @ 8:10 am

I’m very excited about these 2 music vieo/performances that Kate Moross and Alex Sushon put togeather for Simian Mobile Disco.
The diffrent levels of stroboscopeie is what I like, and the movement in space. Using the projections not only as flat immages but as light which interacts with another layer of “phisical lights” which ar put around and in front of the projections, compleatly transforming space.

I know i’m not beeing clear.

My mom used to show me this painting all the time when i was little, she had it in a Fancy phonebook.
She would pull it out and say calmly “…and this is Kronos devouring one of his children.”
